CompleXYS is hired by Elma to perform a review of the software they designed for the ‘Eagle Access’, an electrically driven offshore walk-to-work gangway, used as a personal and light cargo landing tool.

CompleXYS reviews and delivers a report with findings concerning program flow, overall quality of implemented code, possible programming errors and conformity with specified functional requirements.

Seven Vega reel-lay vessel design

The Seven Vega reel-lay vessel will be 149.2m-long and 13m-deep with a breadth of 33m and draught of 8.3m.

Seven Vega pipelay systems

The vessel will be installed with two reels with a 5,600 ton storage capacity main reel and a secondary reel with a capacity of 1,600ton. It will have a maximum dynamic top tension capacity of 600 ton.

The pipelay systems will be able to install pipeline end terminations (PLETs) measuring 5mx5mx10m. The vessel will also be fitted with abandonment & recovery winches.

The Voltaire, ready for the future of the renewable energy market!

CompleXYS B.V. & Huisman equipment are working together on the powermanagement & the development of the Quick Connector for the Van Oord Voltaire Huisman crane.

The Voltaire is specifically designed to transport, lift and install offshore wind turbines, transition pieces and foundations for current and future developments. The vessel will have better operational limits compared to the existing Jack-Up installation vessels. Not only will this vessel be ready for the future of offshore renewables, it will also be deployable for the oil and gas industry, and for decommissioning of offshore structures. All these activities will be performed in a sustainable way thanks to lower fuel consumptions and emissions through Jan De Nul’s in house developed ULEv technique (Ultra Low Emission vessel).

The Voltaire is equipped with a main crane of over 3,000 tonnes and a DP2 system. The vessel has an operating depth of over 80 meters, a payload of about 14,000 tonnes and accommodation for 110 persons. With her four legs, the Voltaire can lift itself above the sea level for stable working conditions.

Les Alizés, A crane like the world has never seen before!

CompleXYS B.V. is providing conception, engineering, building, commissioning & support for Les Alizés a state of the art vessel with Huisman equipment crane.

Les Alizés will be ready in 2022. Les Alizés is equipped with a crane having a lifting capacity of 5,000 tons and equally impressive lifting heights. The Vessel will mainly be used for the construction of offshore wind farms, but with her impressive crane she is also extremely suitable for decommissioning offshore oil and gas platforms.

Thanks to her dimensions and impressive lifting and loading capacities, Les Alizés will be able to load out, transport and install multiple units of the largest and heaviest wind turbine foundations. In addition, as a crane vessel that floats, it will be able to install heavier and larger foundations into deeper waters and in more challenging seabed conditions.

CompleXYS B.V. is now an accredited training company by S-BB. Students receive the best possible practical training with prospects of a job, and companies can employ professionals that they need, now and in the future. These are the objectives of the Foundation for Cooperation on Vocational Education, Training and Labour Market (SBB).

We recognize and guide the training companies where students, workers and job seekers can go for an internship. And we make agreements about what the student needs to know and be able to do in order to achieve for example their MBO Certificate (post-secondary vocational education).

CompleXYS B.V. supports the Future!

CompleXYS B.V is providing automation support to Pat Kruger for the development of the Mammoet FOCUS30 crane of the future!

rawler cranes often need to be erected above live areas of the plant, putting workers and key infrastructure at additional risk. As it can take up to four weeks for these cranes to become operational, scheduling can be severely affected.

The FOCUS30 helps with a fast and safe project in several ways.

The FOCUS30 improves productivity by freeing up space on site. Its boom mast is assembled vertically in sections, allowing the assembly to take place from just a 30x40m footprint.

Besides that it allows projects to start and finish sooner. The FOCUS30 can be assembled within 10-14 days and can be transported to the lift position in smaller, more maneuverable pieces.

Also reduces the FOCUS30 project risk. Boom erection does not overhang adjacent areas of the plant, so plant workers, pipe racks and other key infrastructure can operate more safely. The FOCUS30 is a 2,500t class crane, and so is ideal for a wide range of lifts, while its minimum 6t/m2 ground bearing pressure means it can operate at a wider range of sites.
